|Through Mental Health Services Act (MHSA) funding Madera County Behavioral Health Services (BHS), in conjunction with the Housing Authority of the City of Madera, is pleased to announce we are accepting applications for permanent supportive housing from individuals meeting eligibility criteria.|
BHS will assess interested applicants for homelessness or at-risk of homelessness as well as for mental health disability. Those who are MHSA Housing Program eligible and are able to provide the documents listed above will be certified and a verification of homelessness or at-risk homelessness and mental health disability will be documented. Once certified, BHS staff will asssist individuals with all aspects of the application process, including help with all additional required documentation (background checks, credit checks, etc.). ***Applications will NOT be accepted without the above listed documents! Certified Applicants that complete the application process will be placed on a list and
housing awarded in the order their complete applications were received.
We have immediate vacancies in Madera and Chowchilla. We will be accepting applications on a continuous basis.
